The region was one that consistently over-performed. As a result
of their strong execution, several of the leaders were identified
as candidates for promotions. A more vigorous process for succession
planning and leadership development was warranted, well in advance
of any known promotions or leadership changes.
The Medlin Group developed and delivered a Customized
Leadership Portfolio for each identified executives. This allowed
the regional president to invoke the coaching
model to affirm the attributes and enhance the developmental
areas of the leader that the portfolio uncovered. In addition, the
leader worked with their currently assigned team to further augment
their leadership qualities and overall results. The result was a
high-performance team working for a leader who was motivated to
do a great job while enhancing their own leadership awareness, competencies,
and skills.
